OSSBA Annual Meetings feature session with the Bedford Agency and OSSAA on Name, Image and Likeness

As part of the Bedford Agency’s partnership with the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activity Association on Name Image and Likeness and Recruiting Education, Bedford Agency CEO, Bryan Bedford spoke at the 2023 Oklahoma State School Board Association August 25th, 2023 to kick off the 2023-2024 school year. The OSSBA session is an annual “training” each summer for State Board members in the State of Oklahoma and this year the Bedford Agency provided NIL education training at the annual event.

“It was great to speak to the OSSBA and introduce an important and dynamic topic such at NIL at the event. Its critical this group of stakeholders understands the changing landscape of youth and High School athletics and implications of Name, Image and Likeness and we were honored to be invited by Mr. David Jackson and the OSSAA staff to join forces in training this key group of board members– Bryan Bedford, CEO of the Bedford Agency.

Bedford Agency CEO to Speak on NIL at the 2023 Oklahoma Coaches Association Clinic

The Oklahoma Coaches Association Clinic is the annual “meeting of the minds” each summer for High School Coaches in the State of Oklahoma. More importantly its a time to reconnect and conduct professional development. This year, in partnership with the OSSAA (Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activity Association), the Bedford Agency and its CEO Bryan Bedford will present & help educate coaches on the changing landscape of High School Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). The NIL Training session for coaches is schedule for Monday July 24th at 12pm at the Marriott Southern Hills, in Tulsa, Oklahoma as part of the OCA clinic.

OIAAA Conference features Name, Image and Likeness Training for Athletic Directors in the state of Oklahoma

This week the Oklahoma Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA) featured a comprehensive training and educational set of workshops during its June 12-13th summer convention held in Shawnee, OK. Bryan Bedford, CEO of the Bedford Agency was one of several guest speakers during the two-day event and was featured as a breakout speaker on Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) as the OIAAA and Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association continue their efforts to educate coaches, parents and student-athletes on the changing landscape of NIL.

Bedford Agency signs new School District Partners for Name, Image and Likeness & Recruiting Education Training

OSSAA, Bartlesville, Broken Arrow, Norman, Moore, and Piedmont Public School Districts are investing in NIL & Recruiting Education

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, MAY 22, 2023 –Bedford Agency is pleased to announce it has partnered and trained new high schools for its Name, Image and Likeness and Recruiting education services.  The Bedford Agency has reached agreements with Bartlesville Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, Piedmont Public Schools, and previously mentioned Moore Public Schools (Moore, Southmoore, and Westmoore), Norman Public Schools (Norman and Norman North High Schools) as well as the Oklahoma Secondary School Activity Association to help train, educate and mentor the Athletic Department and Coaches in Name, Image and Likeness & Recruiting. 

Bedford Agency has already provided educational seminars and provide a video-on-demand training curriculum (NIL Playbook) to its partners and their coaches through its partnership with Eccker Sports to each of these partners.  In each agreement, the coaches and athletic department staff will participate in an initial training on Name, Image and Likeness or Recruiting and will be provided access to an on-demand content and training (NIL Playbook or other content) and certification with additional training workshops for their coaches planned throughout the year.

In addition, CEO, Bryan Bedford of the Bedford Agency is also schedule to be a featured speaker at the upcoming Oklahoma Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA) on June 13th and Oklahoma Coaches Association meetings in July.  

NIL guidelines were passed by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) in October of 2022 and throughout the country this year.  Bedford Agency are also the official partners of the OSSAA for Name, Image and Likeness.
