Did you know that the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) has had a multi-year partnership to help navigate, create policy, train, educate and empower through the changing landscape of Name Imagine and Likeness (NIL) and College Recruiting? The answer is yes!
Forged in October 2022, the OSSAA and the Bedford Agency have partnered together to stay on the leading edge of NIL and College Recruiting. Through this partnership the Bedford Agency offers policy advisement, rules interpretation, guidance on NIL contracts, advises Athletic Departments and School Districts and serves as counsel throughout the year. Additionally, the Bedford Agency worked to provide up to date content, educational seminars and is a regular presenter at state events on behalf of the OSSAA.
The Bedford Agency has already partnered with numerous school districts to help educate and empower their coaches on the changing nature of the industry offering workshops, trainings, online content, and tools to support NIL disclosure, marketplace, recruiting coordination and academic eligibility.
